A family
friend found this radio for $12.00 sometime in early 2005. Not
much was needed to fix this one up. New capacitors, a power cord, and a
good cleaning brought this one back to life. The finish on the cabinet
looked decent, so it was touched up. After
a good cleaning of the cabinet with mineral spirits, a few methods were
tired to fix up the original finish. After a good cleaning, most of the
bad spots were blended in using a Minwax brand stain stick. Below: The radio before restoration.
