Yamaha CR-620
" Natural Sound Stereo Receiver "
This was another
"freebie", that was dumped on, err, given to me. I'd love to keep
this receiver, but due to lack of space, this one was sold on eBay in
March 2005.
This
was a higher quality rig in its day, and still is. This receiver has
adjustable settings for Bass, Treble, Loudness, rec out selector ( Tape
1 & 2, tuner, phono, & Aux.), Input ( Tape 1 & 2, tuner,
phono, & Aux.) , Volume and Balance, and Tuning. Other
buttons include Power on/off, A & B speakers on/off, Low & High
filter on/off, Tuner AM or FM, Mode Stereo or Mono, FM muting on/off.
The front panel also has two meters on it, Signal Q and FM tuning.
The back panel has connections for antennas, inputs, speakers, and a
ground. There are also three 120 volt, AC outlets on the back, one of
them is switched. The power supply for this radio is 120 volts AC, 60
hz, and 190 watts. This unit was made is Hamamatsu, Japan, and the
serial number is 134712. This receiver was manufactured sometime in
1977-79, and originally sold for about $ 340.00.
