B & K 600 Tube Tester
I first had my eyes on this model after I found a tube chart, and some
adapters for it in an old Sears repair shop I cleaned out in December
2001. Sometime in mid June 2002, I spotted one on ebay going rather
cheap, and the rest is history. Being a simple emissions type tester, I
mostly used it to sort through the thousands of tubes I had boxed up
from the repair shop.
After I acquired this tester, I replaced several
parts, including: capacitors, resistors, line cord, two nine pin
miniature tube sockets, and added a fuse in the line. After those
repairs, and a good cleaning, the tester seemed to work rather well.
Unfortunately, I no longer own this tester, for it
has
found it's way to another owner. I sold it on ebay in February 2003,
for
the price of $65.00, almost $30.00 more than I paid for it.
